Biography
Shashanka Muppaneni is Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Danaher, where he leads corporate strategy and M&A and serves on the Danaher Leadership Team. He joined Danaher in 2024 and previously served as Group Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for Danaher's Diagnostics platform.

He joined Danaher in 2024 as Group Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for the Diagnostics platform, where he advanced Danaher’s organic and inorganic growth strategies, built and executed a robust M&A pipeline, and sharpened the platform’s focus in core markets and prioritized adjacencies.
Before Danaher, Shashanka was a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he was one of the firm’s global leaders in life sciences tools and diagnostics.
Earlier in his career, he held strategy, corporate development, and general management roles across healthcare, high-tech, and industrial sectors, including at Illumina, Smiths Medical, Cummins and Microsoft.
Shashanka holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, with majors in Finance and Management Information Systems, from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, where he graduated summa cum laude and with high distinction.
