Biography
Jonathan is an experienced public company General Counsel, whose work focuses on servant leadership and advancing the mission of an organization through guidance and advocacy. Across nearly 30 years of law practice, Jonathan has advised leadership teams and Boards of Directors on a wide array of topics including corporate governance, ethics & compliance, mergers & acquisitions, significant litigation, intellectual property, and commercial contracting.

Timeline
Jonathan joined Danaher as General Counsel in August 2025 after serving as the Chief Legal Officer of two significant public companies over the previous 12 years. Jonathan served as the Chief Legal Officer of Dollar Tree, Inc., one of the world's largest retailers and a Fortune 150 company, and Diebold Nixdorf, a global technology company serving the world's leading financial institutions and retailers across four continents.
Before moving in-house, Jonathan was a partner at a global law firm representing public and private companies, Boards of Directors and leaders in significant litigation, government investigations and compliance transformations. He previously served as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, earning recognition from numerous federal agencies for dedicated service to the United States Government.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Jonathan has served his hometown civic community as president of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and Cleveland Bar Association. Jonathan also serves as an adjunct law professor at two national law schools, helping to prepare the next generation of lawyers to serve others through the legal profession.
Jonathan and his wife Erika are proud parents to three adult children who are pursuing law, business, and the arts.
