Our commitment to progress DE+I

At Danaher, we strive for a fully diverse, inclusive and equitable organization. While we know there is always more work to be done, we are proud of how far we’ve come. We amplify diverse perspectives and invest in an inclusive environment to better enable innovative breakthroughs, with continuous improvement moving us towards full representation at every level.

We make pay decisions based on merit and are publicly committed to advancing equity globally. In the U.S., we’ve achieved pay equity and maintained it since 2020. Globally, we analyze our pay fairness in detail across many of the countries in which we operate, striving to accurately represent our associates around the world.

To create a truly inclusive culture, we need leaders who cultivate opportunities for their teams to learn, engage and bring their authentic selves to work. As part of our annual review process, each People Leader is required to have a performance or development objective related to DE+I. This requirement ensures we’re holding leaders accountable and acknowledging the essential role they play in cultivating an environment that puts DE+I at the forefront.

Meaningful change requires having difficult conversations, confronting biases, learning and leading with vulnerability and transparency. Our annual Day of Understanding is an opportunity for our global People Leaders to engage their teams in meaningful discussions, address potential bias in the workplace and cultivate a culture of inclusion and understanding.
