Focus on Sustainability at Fluke
Sustainability is a high priority at Danaher, as the Danaher Business System drives efficiency and productivity improvements in every aspect of our culture.
Recently, Fluke’s commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability was highlighted in a Maintenance Technology article, “They Practice What They Preach at Fluke.” Energy-saving has been a priority at Fluke since before the company was acquired by Danaher in 1998 and has become an even bigger priority since. According to the article, “This respected maker of test and measurement instruments is operating in accordance with the purpose of its own products to keep its Washington-state headquarters on the cutting edge of energy efficiency.”
Compressed air dryer upgrades, lighting upgrades and heat-reclamation projects are a few initiatives that have helped Fluke reduce its electrical consumption by at least 4% every quarter since 2009, even as production has increased. However, Fluke’s sustainability efforts aren’t limited to energy saving. To read the article on Maintenance Technology’s website, click here.
